Author’s Bio:

Scott Burton, known online as ks.bleeds.ink, is a North Carolina-based author and two-time kidney transplant recipient. His poetry reflects on survival, chronic illness, memory, grief, and the human need to keep going—especially when everything falls apart.

Scott’s signature voice blends personal experience with universal emotion. It draws in readers who’ve lived through loss, love, or the quiet work of rebuilding. His work has been featured in online journals, print anthologies and in his collections of published works. Through his series Chaos and memoir Forever Is Tomorrow, he turns survival into language. He transforms trauma into truth and makes silence resonate.

Forever Is Tomorrow
A poetic memoir chronicling life before and after a kidney transplant—capturing the dark days, the quiet miracles, and the messy in-between.

The Chaos Series
A 10-volume poetic exploration of what it means to live after survival.
Each book stands on its own. Together, they weave a larger emotional arc. This arc touches on themes like memory, identity, distance, truth, doubt, and longing.
